Mukhalal or Shawarma Pickle is a Middle Eastern delicacy. It is a pro-biotic and complete plant based food which has numerous health benefits. It is a tangy and spicy pickle that contains veggies like, cucumber, beetroot, and carrot.
Makers have included radish, and capsicum to make it more nutritious. The advantages of consuming fermented, pro-biotic foods will create a protective lining in the intestines and shields it against pathogenic factors.
Ingredients: Cucumber, Beetroot, Carrot, Radish, Capsicum, Apple Cider Vinegar, Green chillies, Garlic, Coconut Sugar, Purified Water, and Sea Salt/Himalayan salt. All the Ingredients are Chemical Free / Organic and also the veggies are freshly harvested from the local farm(s).

Ms.Shweta is a Fashion Designer by profession and is equally interested in Healthy living and Healthy cooking. She believes that food is our medicine. Her quest for B12 vitamin for pure (Veg)etari(an)s made her research more on Probiotic foods where-in she along with her husband Sateesh started their own Fermentary startup called Sattva Fermentary. They are into fermenting of Fruits and Vegetables that are artisanal and are prepared in small batches. They have started with Mukhalal/Shawarma Pickle, Spicy Thai Carrots Pickle, BeetKvass, Sauerkraut, Kombucha, and the list goes on. And will be adding more to the list.
You can store it 5 to 7 days outside fridge. or Up to 1 month in Fridge.
Special Instructions: When you find a white or pink layer on Mukhalal, scope it and discard the layer. There is nothing to worry, it is just a natural yeast. Don't consume if the layer is green or gray or black in color.
